[計] K. DAWSON YUKON is originally from Washington, DC and graduated from Woodrow Wilson SHS [WISP], before graduating Ringling College of Art & Design [RCAD]. with a BFA in Illustration and a thesis focused on pre-production for TV animation. In addition, she also studied independently for JLPT [日本語能力試験２級] and CAP [Certified Administrative Professionals Exam].
Currently living in Los Angeles, CA, her hobbies include video editing, handheld & console games, watercoloring & creating graphic narratives, studying and baking desserts. Through sharing comics with others online, she became known by the kanji marking her work [誠] and is often called [YUKON MAKOTO], or [YUU] for short.
In addition to LA and DC, she has also lived in the Metro areas in MD & VA; Orlando, & Sarasota, FL; Austin, TX; Irvine, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, & Huntington Beach, CA; Osaka Umeda [大阪府梅田], Hyogo Amagasaki [兵庫県尼崎], & Kobe Sannomiya [神戸 三ノ宮], JPN; Fukuoka Kurume [福岡県久留米市] & Omuta [福岡県大牟田市], JPN. Yukon can be found online easily because internet is important when connections are spread so far apart.
